Dashboard/Doors Cloth Cleaning

What is recommended for cleaning the cloth portions of the dashboard and doors without leaving a bunch of lint, etc. behind?

I've always washed cloth with cloth...usually, just a bathroom washrag...ie: cloth on cloth.

Alright I was thinking the same thing with cloth on cloth. As long as it pulls the dust and debris out of the car's cloth without leaving anything behind. That cloth on the dashboard and doors is interesting; kind of like a jersey but it has layers to it.

Last time I had to do that kind of cleaning, we used non-staining carpet cleaner and a vacuum cleaner, but that was over 10 years ago.
