Every year recalling of cars is not new to all the auto customers. It is ubiquitous nowadays. And just for an update, BMW ActiveE and Chevrolet Captiva recalled. It was reported that Chevy is recalling some of its Captiva crossovers. In the meantime, in what might be among the first-ever electric car recalls, BMW is recalling some ActiveE EVs. The link will direct you into its full article.

What do you think are its effect when it comes to their sales this year?

Howdy, Sheena. Wow, you posted an insightful first post.

Initial recalls always "dampen" sales, but, after awhile, the buying public becomes "numb" and soon the effects of those recalls become far less as those who like the vehicle/brand usually remain 'loyal' (but cautious) while those who either don't like the vehicle/brand, or are unsure, will migrate to other vehicles/brands.

It is a good step which is taken by the management in order to keep the safety at a high level which will eventually embark in more sales.

Good first step. Some of us will be watching GM because of the loan from FG and it has been over 20 years since I've owned a GM product.
