Yes, a low battery voltage can cause the computer to "think" stupidly, meaning some (all?) of those codes MIGHT be erroneous because the voltage was too low. Also, certain codes do NOT automatically go away when the OBDII is 'cleared' -- specifically codes that affect engine LIFE or emissions...

Do you remember the automotive magazine (I don't recall which mag) that did an article on how a very hot rodded Camaro could not only meet smog laws without all the smog equipment, but could do so without any smog equipment installed...and STILL get decent mpg? In Car Craft maybe?

Ours seems to "slid" back when you LOOK at it! There's basically no friction. Just putting your arm on top of it often causes it slid back.

How did you succed in "locking" it in the forward position? Our's keeps sliding backward at the slightest pressure or movement.

The wife's Cruze had that Recall done during our last oil change appointment. Although we were initially told that they'd have to order the part(s), they apparently had them on-hand the day she showed up for the oil change, as the Recall was performed concurrently with the oil change...and...

Great news! By any chance did the dealership list the GM Service Bulletin that they used on your receipt? It would be very helpful to know if it was an old or new Service Bulletin.

Good find! Many early RS Cruze owners had problems with OEM flaps NOT fitting properly.

Beyond the obvious question of is the oil level "low", only these two things immediately come to mind: 1) oil pump beginning to fail... 2) oil pressure sensor beginning to fail... However, since the problem seems to "clear" itself I'd have the GM tech check BOTH items!
